About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging math curriculum using company-created materials designed for advanced K-12 students
- Lead small classes of up to 16 students, fostering an environment of student-led learning and critical thinking
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a collaborative and productive learning setting
- Grade assignments and tests, providing constructive feedback to students
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and their families
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Strong mathematical content knowledge
- Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
- Ability to work onsite at our Pasadena, CA campus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring K-12 students
- Experience in classroom management
