Math Curriculum Designer, Grades 6-12

Responsibilities

• Design clear, engaging, and interactive math questions for grades 6-12 to meet specific educational objectives
• Write helpful, age-appropriate, and mathematically sound explanations of complex concepts
• Collaborate with visual designers, curriculum peers, and company leadership to determine effective curricular strategies
• Research and review IXL's alignment to educational standards, common assessments, and popular textbooks
• Develop and manage project plans to ensure high-quality math content is delivered within set deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
• High school or collegiate math teaching experience, including expertise in precalculus, calculus, or statistics
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly
• Highly self-motivated with superb attention to detail and a growth mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in curriculum development
• Advanced degree in mathematics or education
