Math Content Coach

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, planning, and pedagogy support to mathematics teachers and mentors
• Lead analysis of data to drive targeted instruction in the content area
• Model lessons and instructional strategies to facilitate scaffolded instruction
• Develop and guide teachers in instructional plans, lesson pacing, and differentiated instruction
• Lead professional development for teachers and staff
• Develop an understanding of standards and student performance expectations at school sites
• Provide research-based resources to support engaging classroom instruction
• Complete weekly and monthly summaries of work and contribute to product development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Math endorsement or a specialist degree in Mathematics
• 5+ years of professional experience coaching teachers, coaches, or leading adults
• Strong instructional experience in the Mathematics subject area
• Ability to travel 4-5 days a week to client and school sites within Hillsborough County, Florida
• Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills
