Math Competition Program Lead

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the approach for encouraging student participation in major math competitions
• Manage operational execution, including campus hosting logistics and cross-team coordination
• Build and scale systems to track student performance across external math competitions
• Use contest data to drive program assessment and surface insights regarding engagement and achievement
• Partner with Marketing, Curriculum, and Educational Services to execute the annual contest calendar
• Build and maintain relationships with external contest organizations and represent AoPS in the ecosystem
• Act as an internal expert on the evolving math competition landscape and format changes

Requirements

• Strong mathematical background from college-level coursework or high-level competition experience
• Deep familiarity with the math competition landscape and preparation pathways
• Experience participating in, coaching, organizing, or leading mathematics competitions
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale operational programs and drive cross-functional execution
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
• Legal authorization to work in the US (sponsorship is not available)
