Math Associate Instructor

Responsibilities

• Co-teach four periods of Math for 10th or 11th grade Scholars
• Lead classes independently when covering for absent instructors
• Follow provided lesson plans and meet rigorous instruction objectives
• Utilize instructional technologies including Brightspace, Nearpod, GSuit, and Zoom
• Host open-door lunch tutoring sessions for academic support
• Maintain a responsive and restorative classroom culture
• Attend scheduled meetings, professional development, and debriefs
• Implement feedback from instructional coaches

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a content-related field
• Teaching certification or K-12/college-level teaching experience
• Experience working with high school-aged students
• Expertise in advanced high school Mathematics (Algebra & Precalculus)
• Proficiency with technological learning systems
• Access to a reliable personal laptop

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of student-centered pedagogy
• Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
• Certifications or education in Instructional Technologies
