Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major surgical procedures and treat a full range of OB/GYN conditions
• Provide leadership and oversight to nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants
• Conduct patient examinations, obtain medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Manage high-volume ultrasound services including fetal echocardiograms, first-trimester screenings, anatomic surveys, and amniocentesis
• Interpret antenatal assessments such as NST and biophysical profile
• Participate in internal quality-improvement initiatives
• Support technology enhancements to improve quality and patient experience

Requirements

• Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Active Medical License in Maryland, Virginia, or DC strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine role
• CVS experience valued but not required
