Maternal Child Clinical Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and clinical instruction for nursing students in a clinical setting
• Plan clinical experiences and develop written assignments consistent with student learning needs
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback and remediation as required
• Maintain current knowledge of agency clinical policies, procedures, and expectations
• Grade clinical paperwork, quizzes, and other written work in a timely manner
• Serve as a professional role model and contribute to the ongoing development of the nursing program

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Oklahoma
• At least two years of professional nursing experience within the last five years
• Subject matter expertise in maternal-child nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in teaching or precepting nursing students
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
