Materials Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead, scale, and train a team of 18+ Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory associates
• Oversee inventory, receiving, and material handling workflows to ensure the shop floor is sufficiently stocked
• Support the team in prioritizing production and fulfillment warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct root cause analysis to optimize resources and drive on-time delivery
• Monitor and enforce adherence to strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high quality
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve workflows and processes for optimal efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional team leads to identify and address high-priority improvement opportunities

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading a team in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Experience with WMS, ERP, and/or MES/MRP systems
• Strong understanding of manufacturing practices and inventory management
• Knowledge of inventory counting processes
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet software
• High level of comfort with digital tools and technology
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of digital dental production workflows (crowns, bridges, implants, etc.)
• Proven ability to break down complex problems into manageable steps
• Strong self-motivation and ability to drive improvement initiatives to completion
