Responsibilities

• Collect, weigh, characterize, and deliver scrap materials from the production area to ensure quality and proper disposal.
• Perform physical and administrative tasks related to the collection of scrap within manufacturing processes.
• Manage the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of merchandise, materials, and equipment.
• Check received goods against purchase orders or invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Package and prepare products for final shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges.
• Review customer orders and distribute merchandise within inventory warehouses or manufacturing lines.
• Lift heavy items and potentially operate a forklift as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of industry experience, preferably in warehouse or inventory roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control and administration.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical labor.
• Availability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night) on a 3 or 4-day schedule.
