Materials Specialist – OM

Responsibilities

• Manage order execution for Generator, CPSL, and "ship direct" items for new apparatus projects
• Drive component ordering by responding to PCMs to ensure required parts are secured
• Interface with engineering and supply management colleagues to achieve on-time deliveries
• Support the preparation of export documentation for international project sites in compliance with US customs regulations
• Coordinate export activities with US-based MLS, customs brokers, and authorized forwarding companies
• Manage material masters in SAP/OPP using MRP, lead time, planning, and BOMs
• Issue requisitions to Procurement Specialists in SAP/OPP to obtain generator parts
• Review and report on product availability to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4+ years of experience using SAP
• Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawing structures, and engineering specifications
• Basic knowledge of generator components and systems
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities
• Excellent written, verbal, and mathematical communication skills
• Ability to work US shift timings
