Materials Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day warehouse operations including inventory control, receiving, transfers, and chemical inventory management
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular physical and chemical inventory processes
• Manage the safe movement and handling of parts and maintenance materials into and out of facilities
• Establish and adhere to work priorities for material handling processes and systems
• Collaborate with station staff to schedule and implement maintenance and operational activities
• Utilize supply chain systems and mobile applications, such as MAXIMO, to manage workflows
• Maintain effective communication with site procurement and operations to ensure efficient commodity flow

Requirements

• High School/GED degree
• 2 years of related work experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications (e.g., Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience with inventory or work management systems
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing conditions and time pressures
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
