Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize complex photopolymer formulations for additive manufacturing
  • Lead the end-to-end transition of new materials from lab scale to commercial launch
  • Establish structure-process-property relationships through rigorous experimentation
  • Use knowledge of 3D printing hardware to inform formulation and future hardware decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, hardware, and software teams

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in polymer science, chemical engineering, chemistry, or materials science
  • Experience developing thermoset materials including epoxies, urethanes, or acrylates
  • Experience conducting lab experiments and analyzing large data sets
  • Ability to work autonomously and push projects forward independently
  • Track record of success in publication, IP generation, or product commercialization
  • Strong documentation skills including SOP creation and technical reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies
  • Programming and digital analysis skills (Python, JMP, MATLAB, Minitab)
  • Experience with high performance polymers, composites, or elastomers
