About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, pilot, and implement lean material replenishment systems including Kanban, PFEP, JIT, and visual replenishment strategies
- Develop and maintain point-of-use (POU) inventory solutions to reduce material travel and downtime
- Collaborate with Production, Fabrication, Planning, and Warehouse teams to align material delivery processes
- Lead regular reviews and kaizen events to identify gaps and drive standardization
- Improve part staging and kitting processes to support work center schedules
- Ensure accurate ERP transactions and drive cycle count integrity
- Serve as a champion for lean transformation efforts and develop visual management tools
- Train key personnel on lean material systems and document standard work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a relevant field
- 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Foundational understanding of lean principles (5S, VSM, Kanban, PFEP)
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Infor
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 50% per year
