Materials Production Manager, Linen

Responsibilities

• Oversee linen fiber inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing waste
• Inspect and verify fiber quality against micron, length, and color standards
• Manage fiber On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance and track supplier timelines
• Partner with spinning mills to ensure fiber lots meet technical specifications
• Monitor fiber consumption to identify yield loss or quality deviations
• Coordinate with R&D, Product Development, and Sourcing teams for production handoffs

Requirements

• Degree in Textile Engineering, Material Science, Supply Chain, or related field
• Proven experience managing raw materials in textile or apparel production
• Strong ability to assess fiber quality and enforce standards
• Demonstrated skill in inventory tracking and driving on-time delivery
• Analytical skills to monitor fiber usage and improve production flow

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with linen fiber grading, testing, or lot management
• Knowledge of spinning mill operations and fiber-to-yarn conversion
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools
• Understanding of sustainable fiber sourcing and production practices
