About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the material planning process for a dedicated set of suppliers and products to ensure material availability.
  • Run Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), resolve alerts, and create purchase requisitions.
  • Validate planning parameters such as MOQ, lead times, and sourcing ratios.
  • Monitor inventory projections against targets and take corrective actions like expediting or delaying requisitions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to assess material shortages and identify potential solutions.
  • Plan material supply ramp-up/down for product phase-in/out to prevent shortages or obsolescence.
  • Support strategic procurement projects including supplier footprint optimization and sourcing strategies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Commercial apprenticeship.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Material Planning.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning.
