Materials Planner

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proactive relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent part availability and uninterrupted production.
• Own all Material Requirements Planning (MRP) parameters for assigned part numbers to ensure accuracy and optimal inventory levels.
• Interpret production demand signals and translate schedules into specific material needs.
• Coordinate the timing of engineering changes for current-production products to ensure smooth transitions.
• Collaborate daily with Purchasing, Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and support build plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR at least 2 years of manufacturing or supply chain/logistics experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on an unrestricted basis.
• Strong working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite for data analysis and reporting.
