About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the focal point for a designated program within the Blades business
  • Manage critical parts lists, delivery schedules, and end-to-end part movement from raw materials to shipping
  • Coordinate missed commit root cause and corrective action activities
  • Track and manage WIP and aged inventory
  • Confer with engineering and purchasing regarding stock procurement and availability
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Planners to update delivery commit streams
  • Project manage Value Stream improvement projects and maintain Lines of Balance
  • Review and maintain the master production schedule
  • Prepare and maintain records for inventories, shortages, shipments, and expenditures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, materials management, or supply chain
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in a related industrial environment
  • 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a team lead or supervisory capacity
  • Knowledge of Production and Planning Control fundamentals, including capacity planning and Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience with Tableau, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse, or PowerBI
  • Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma concepts to improve departmental and cross-departmental processes
