Materials Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain control and accuracy over all inventories including raw material, WIP, and finished goods
• Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure component delivery for production
• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and delivery to point of use
• Establish and implement best practices for inventory control and material flow
• Support production scheduling by monitoring material availability and tracking progress
• Manage supplier scorecard performance and resolve vendor return material authorizations
• Implement inventory control systems to identify and correct count discrepancies
• Maintain a safe work environment adhering to EHS regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related discipline
• 4+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or logistics within manufacturing
• Experience designing and managing lean warehouse systems like Kanban
• Proven experience as a hands-on leader directing warehouse activities
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Infor Syteline preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM certification
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
