About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of the Kings Mountain Senior Leadership team, providing strategic input and ownership of key metrics including OTD, Days on Hand (DOH), Inventory Accuracy, and E&O.
  • Manage the plant’s SIOP process, ensuring cross-functional participation and optimal inventory levels to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the Inventory Management Process, including cycle count governance, annual physical inventory, and managing excess and obsolete inventories.
  • Oversee all aspects of the ERP system to ensure data integrity, correct BOM structures, and accurate material routings.
  • Establish and maintain efficient operational areas for receiving, material handling, warehouse, and shipping.
  • Lead plant logistics activities, including inbound/outbound management, cost-out objectives, and trade compliance.
  • Support cost savings initiatives by minimizing the Cost of Non-Conformance (CONC) and managing departmental budgets.
  • Develop, coach, and grow team talent to ensure high performance and future readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Materials and Operations management within a high-volume business environment.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
  • Strong communication and ability to manage multiple priorities under challenging time constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS CPIM Certification.
  • Extensive ERP knowledge, preferably with Oracle.
  • Technical expertise in forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring, and scheduling execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished products.
  • Understanding of lean concepts and experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
