Materials Management Specialist B

Responsibilities

• Ensure shop personnel, tool rooms, and customers are supplied with proper tools, equipment, and supplies through efficient material management.
• Receive, sort, store, kit, inventory, issue, and move materials including raw materials, tools, parts, and hazardous waste.
• Coordinate material movement to support schedule revisions and perform unloading of vehicles.
• Maintain accountability records and reports, relaying the availability and status of processed materials.
• Operate electric powered elevating equipment to move materials and use shop equipment to facilitate material movement.
• Establish and adjust minimum and maximum requirements for tools and supplies and set up inventory control systems.
• Inspect incoming hardware for identification and damage and prepare items for shipment with appropriate documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory, stock, or supply chain management.
• US Person status required (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) per Export Control compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and perform physical tasks including standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word).
