About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead or assist in materials functions including planning, cycle counting, and inventory control
- Manage SAP material movements, receipts, and purchase requisitions
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, reagents, and consumables
- Facilitate the shipment of outgoing materials and products
- Package and re-configure materials for staging in production or testing laboratories
- Support process improvements and the development of new standard operating procedures
- Provide training to new hires and assist with inventory management in the ERP system
- Handle products using material handling equipment and comply with safety procedures
Requirements
- Associates degree in business, operations, or a related field; or high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or material handling operations
- 3+ years of experience utilizing SAP or other ERP systems for inventory management
- 3+ years of experience with databases, spreadsheets, and statistical programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a biotech manufacturing environment, preferably within GMP or ISO13485 settings
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience
