About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule the on-time delivery of complex parts and commodities following established procedures
- Perform audits and information analysis to determine accuracy regarding delivery schedules, inventory levels, and requirements
- Reconcile information discrepancies to mitigate or minimize supply chain disruptions
- Maintain and update information systems to distribute materials management data to required recipients
- Coordinate the flow of materials management information between internal and external stakeholders
- Interpret data to identify supply chain trends, patterns, and potential problems
- Collaborate with required organizations to resolve issues affecting the supply chain
- Release orders to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate product manufacture
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience using SAP software
- 3+ years of experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), including Compass Contract or similar systems
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work any assigned shift
- U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience working directly with supplier management
