Materials & Inventory Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Deliver a plan to ensure on-time availability of materials and components while maintaining effective inventory levels.
• Manage supply chain planning, capacity planning, and scheduling to optimize site resources and customer service.
• Support commercial launches of new products and product transfers through effective procurement and planning.
• Oversee the accuracy of Production and Inventory Control systems, including Item Master, Bill of Materials, and Routing files.
• Lead monthly Material Review Board meetings with operations, technical, and quality leadership.
• Evaluate and implement SAP system enhancements to maximize automated planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Finance to resolve issues impeding production flow.
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimum performance and financial goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Production Planning.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Expertise in capacity planning, scenario planning, and run rate determination.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver production, customer service, and inventory goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
