The Materials Informatics Lab uses cutting-edge AI technology to challenge the traditional field of new material development. By linking the latest AI techniques with diverse scientific knowledge, the lab identifies relationships between material structures and performance to propose new materials with optimal properties. We maintain open collaborative systems with LG affiliates and leading global institutions.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop Deep Learning/Machine Learning algorithms for predicting and designing material properties
• Focus on research areas including Materials/Bio/Chemo Informatics, Graph Neural Networks, Prediction, Optimization, Generation, Representation Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Explainable AI, and Bayesian Neural Networks
• Apply research to fields such as Bio/Drug Discovery, Battery/OLED materials, eco-friendly catalysts, and polymer development

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in a related field
• Experience in Deep Learning/Machine Learning algorithm research and development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in material property prediction, optimization, or structure generation using Deep Learning/Machine Learning
• Experience with DFT (Density Functional Theory) tasks
• Proficiency in Machine Learning frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Caffe
• Experience with programming languages including Python, C/C++, or Java
