About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform general materials analysis including polymer sample preparation
  • Create detailed analysis reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Conduct and design experiments associated with material processing and property optimization
  • Lead polymer materials projects and provide routine reporting to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, technicians, and outside suppliers

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Materials Science, Materials Science and Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a similar discipline
  • Experience with standard materials lab equipment including MFR, FTIR, DSC, and TGA
  • Proficiency in sample preparation and analytical testing equipment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to establish schedules and drive execution
  • Excellent communication skills
