Materials Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the selection and approval of construction materials according to project requirements
• Coordinate material testing activities and analyze test results to verify conformity
• Review material submittals and certifications to ensure compliance
• Support quality control processes by inspecting materials on-site and in the laboratory
• Document material quality records and prepare reports for management review
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and laboratories to resolve material-related issues
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards related to materials

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in materials engineering within the construction or infrastructure industry
• Deep knowledge of material testing methods, quality control, and relevant standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with construction materials, codes, and safety regulations
