Materials Coordinator I

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) in the ERP system according to job standards
• Process BOM change requests accurately and in a timely manner based on Engineering markups
• Evaluate and adjust Engineering changes for potential impact on the ERP system
• Research and resolve problems generated by change request activity and stock disposition
• Act as a liaison between Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Inventory, and Finance departments
• Ensure compliance with drawing formats, part naming conventions, and corporate procedures
• Audit BOMs for newly developed products in conjunction with Engineering and Operations
• Perform data collection and analysis for special projects using advanced ERP reporting tools

Requirements

• 3 years of experience related to engineering or manufacturing Bills of Material (BOM)
• Associate degree or equivalent professional work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
