About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage, control, and monitor the procurement of consumable supplies and special purchases for distribution center operations
  • Oversee inventory levels and develop strategies to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting business objectives
  • Monitor production capacities and inventory levels daily, communicating status to leadership, finance, and supervisors
  • Implement and comply with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment policies
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other procurement documents
  • Generate procurement reports to track inventory levels, shortages, and continuous improvement metrics
  • Ensure material receiving processes verify quality and commercial specifications

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Suite Apps
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours depending on daily work volume
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as FMS, DMS, or TMS
  • Experience with the Manhattan system
  • PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification or willingness to become trained
  • Familiarity with Professional Sports Leagues and Teams
