Materials Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Accurately retrieve parts for shipment and prepare materials for the Shipping department
• Process reservations and Stock Transfer Orders (STO’s) twice weekly in SAP
• Monitor group email for urgent or extraordinary requests
• Schedule and coordinate emergency shipments using same-day courier services
• Safely operate plant material handling equipment as needed
• Maintain availability to respond 24/7/365 via phone or in person as required for on-call rotation
• Participate in training for Shipping and Receiving functions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years of material handling experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to lift and move awkward or heavy parts and packages up to 50 lbs
• Ability to obtain forklift certification shortly after hire
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using SAP
• Existing forklift certification
