About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle material flows and optimize storage within warehouses and distribution centers
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of trailers, including securing cargo with chains and binders
- Develop and implement distribution strategies to enhance business performance
- Receive, verify, and record goods and shipments to maintain accurate inventory
- Assist in unloading cargo while maintaining product quality and following safety regulations
- Pack items for shipment according to specific transportation requirements
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with GxP regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient distribution
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Availability to work Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A
- Experience operating multiple types of forklifts
- Previous warehouse experience and familiarity with SAP
