Materials Control Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Handle material flows and optimize storage within warehouses and distribution centers
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of trailers, including securing cargo with chains and binders
• Develop and implement distribution strategies to enhance business performance
• Assist in unloading cargo while maintaining product quality and safety
• Receive, verify, and record goods and shipments to maintain accurate inventory
• Pack items for shipment according to specific transportation requirements
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with GxP regulations
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient distribution

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Availability to work Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Ability to work onsite in Fannin

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods
• Experience operating multiple types of forklifts
• Previous warehouse experience and familiarity with SAP
