Materials Clerk

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving activities in accordance with company procedures and quality standards
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts or other material handling equipment
• Weigh materials using forklift scales and document weights accurately
• Stage and prepare products for shipment and move inventory to designated storage locations
• Verify shipment accuracy by matching paperwork to staged products
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and Lean principles to maintain an orderly work environment

Requirements

• 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
