Materials and Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and materials management for civil, infrastructure, and luxury residential developments
• Develop procurement strategies and project-specific plans aligned with schedules
• Identify and track high-value and long-lead items to protect project timelines
• Lead vendor selection, technical and commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations
• Manage vendor development and supplier performance
• Oversee material submittals and coordinate with design and engineering teams
• Monitor inventory levels and material usage to reduce waste and control costs
• Manage procurement budgets and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company policy
• Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruption and material quality

Requirements

• 18+ years of experience in senior procurement and materials management within construction or contracting
• Proven expertise in sourcing and supply chain operations for large-scale projects
• Strong technical understanding of construction materials and submittals
• Solid grasp of UAE market dynamics and international procurement practices
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Architecture
• Mandatory familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion is an advantage)
• Experience in luxury developments or villa compounds is highly valued
