Materials and Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end procurement cycle for civil, infrastructure, and luxury residential projects.
• Develop procurement strategies and project-specific plans aligned with schedules and organizational objectives.
• Identify and track high-value and long-lead items to protect project timelines.
• Manage vendor development, supplier performance evaluations, and long-term supplier relationships.
• Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and agreements including LOI, LOA, LPO, and subcontracts.
• Oversee material submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and site teams to align procurement with project needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and material usage to reduce waste and control costs.
• Manage procurement budgets and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions and material quality.

Requirements

• 18+ years of senior procurement and materials management experience within the construction or contracting industry.
• Proven expertise in sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations for large-scale projects.
• Strong technical understanding of construction materials and the ability to evaluate technical/commercial quotations.
• Deep knowledge of UAE market dynamics and international procurement practices.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Mandatory familiarity with ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in branded residences, luxury developments, or villa compounds.
• Proficiency with Oracle Fusion.
• Master’s degree or professional certification such as CIPS.
