Materials and Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare project-specific procurement plans aligned with construction schedules
• Source qualified suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate technical and commercial quotations
• Prepare and coordinate material submittals and follow up on consultant approvals
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery conditions
• Coordinate with site teams for material needs and consumption tracking
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance to avoid site delays

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
• 8–12 years of experience in procurement and materials management within contracting companies
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and ERP systems
• Proficiency in preparing RFQs, comparison sheets, and contracts
• Experience working with project specifications, BOQs, and drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Architecture background
• Experience in the UAE construction market
• Experience with building and villa compound projects
• Background with tier one construction contractors within the UAE
