Materials Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on Master Production Schedule (MPS) outputs
• Optimize schedules to balance production capacity, minimize downtime, and improve throughput
• Drive performance against key metrics including on-time delivery (OTD), schedule attainment, and inventory accuracy
• Collaborate with Master Scheduling, Materials, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to align production plans with capacity and material constraints
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Supplier Scheduling to ensure component availability
• Support production floor execution by expediting orders and resolving shortages in real time
• Maintain and update ERP/MRP system parameters, including lead times and replenishment signals
• Partner with Engineering to support new product introductions (NPI) and process improvements

Requirements

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, materials planning, or manufacturing coordination
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems, capacity planning, and inventory control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with shifting priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, or discrete manufacturing
• Experience supporting high-mix, configurable products or engineered-to-order assemblies
