Material Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping and receiving, production control, and outbound logistics teams across two facilities
• Ensure timely unloading, systematic receiving, and efficient put-away of inbound direct material shipments
• Monitor replenishment activity to ensure high priority requests are met rapidly
• Provide high-level training to new hires on functions, systems, and equipment
• Manage personnel functions including time card submissions and time off requests
• Generate quarterly cycle count plans and provide adjustment analysis
• Review indirect material requests for engineering and development teams
• Manage inventory of warehouse equipment and consumable materials while controlling costs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5-7 years of experience in production or manufacturing
• 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Proficiency with ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP)
• Significant experience with spreadsheets
• Physical stamina to lift heavy components and stand for extended periods
• Commitment to workplace safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive components
