Material Specialist

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of materials against packing lists and purchase orders
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and specifications to resolve discrepancies promptly
• Label and store received materials in designated locations ensuring proper handling and preservation
• Kit work orders safely and timely in accordance with company standards
• Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, including shipment logs and tracking
• Perform cycle counts and physical audits of program, government-furnished, and company-owned materials
• Prepare and track outgoing shipments via FedEx and UPS
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, power jacks, and pallet jacks
• Maintain cleanliness of stockroom areas and ensure compliance with ESD requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working with an ERP or inventory management system
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
• Ability to work the 2nd shift
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be a "US Person" as defined by export control regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management within an aerospace environment
