Material Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of domestic and international supply bases, including quality, affordability, and delivery
• Develop and execute Material Program Strategies (MPS) and Material Program Plans (MPP)
• Lead robust negotiations across the supplier base to meet program objectives
• Manage relationships with critical suppliers and international partners
• Monitor and address financial metrics including cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS
• Provide accurate forecasting and realization of sales and financial metrics
• Collaborate with other programs to maximize efficiency and commonality

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience
• 8 years of relevant experience, or 5 years with an advanced degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain role (procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, or finance)
• Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management
• Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required on day one

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with material sales forecasting
• Experience negotiating multiple contract types (FFP, CP, etc.)
• Prior experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), specifically EACs, and related tools
