Material Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Advise Supply Chain Management and Program Management Offices on material strategies, plans, and supplier risk mitigation.
• Develop and execute program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives.
• Support early supplier involvement focused on strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Assist with supply chain proposal activities, including task descriptions and basis of estimates to support price-to-win targets.
• Develop and execute material program plans (MPP) and establish material sales forecasts.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to align schedules with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program or functional issues.
• Lead discussions and presentations to all levels of management and senior leadership.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or 5 years with an advanced degree).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain role and/or program/project management position.
• Proven experience interacting with suppliers in a program or project management capacity.
• Proficiency with SAP and/or related material planning tools.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must possess an active and existing DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government regulations such as FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, and TINA.
• Experience with Design to Cost and Cost Reduction Initiative activities.
• Experience developing and analyzing performance metrics.
• Experience with Proposal and New Business Capture.
