Material Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive processes to successful completion in support of aggressive delivery schedules
• Oversee GSC proposal execution performance and reporting
• Provide MRP support and production alignment to support Operations execution
• Manage supplier material management, forecasting, and risk/opportunity plans
• Act as the key interface between Supply Chain, the Program Office, and suppliers
• Conduct supplier engagements regarding capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk
• Collect and analyze performance metrics to contribute to EAC reporting
• Facilitate product and process changes through collaboration with Engineering and Quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 6 years of experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier management, project management, or program management
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the defense industry within a supply chain function
• Experience purchasing assemblies for military applications
• Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools such as Kinaxis, SAP, or PRISM
