Material Procurement Associate Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and relationship management to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives and monitor market dynamics to capitalize on saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations.
• Define and track supplier key performance indicators (KPIs) and address performance issues.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, focusing on efficiency and vendor relationships.
• Analyze logistics data to optimize operations and support faster delivery times.
• Coordinate transportation, distribution, and warehousing to ensure on-time delivery to job sites.
• Manage the sourcing of raw materials and negotiate supplier contracts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or project coordination.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insured for driving company vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the HVAC, Building Automation, or Construction industry.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar project management/procurement modules.
• CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or APICS/ASCM Supply Chain certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
• Strong data analysis skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and supply chain bottlenecks.
