Material Planning & Supply Chain Operations

Responsibilities

• Own material planning strategy and execution across prototype, NPI, ramp, and mass production stages
• Lead planning for silicon and other long-lead components, including forecasts and allocation planning
• Build and manage material plans tied to demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory targets
• Partner with engineering, operations, and finance to ensure BOM readiness and ECO alignment
• Drive supply planning for critical components, specifically semiconductor-related parts
• Establish processes for material availability, shortage management, and recovery plans
• Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to balance cost, lead time, and continuity of supply
• Monitor and communicate supply risk, inventory exposure, and build readiness to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in material planning or supply chain within complex hardware environments
• Strong experience with silicon planning and semiconductor supply planning
• Proven track record leading material readiness for products involving silicon, sensors, and electronics
• Hands-on experience with BOMs, MRP, and inventory strategy
• Strong understanding of supplier management and contract manufacturing
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with silicon vendors or semiconductor packaging/test flows
• Strong shortage management and recovery planning experience
• Experience building planning processes in a startup or high-growth environment
