Material Planning Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between assembly, distribution, and receiving to manage part shortages and inventory accuracy.
• Proactively evaluate resources to determine future shortages in purchased and manufactured parts.
• Coordinate inventory adjustments, replacements, and oversee direct vendor deliveries.
• Manage routine processes including navigating pick lists, replenishing inventory, and detecting quality defects.
• Schedule and coordinate the delivery or shipment of parts to specific departments.
• Investigate potential bill of material errors and identify substitute parts when necessary.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and tuggers to manage materials.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using JD Edwards or SAP.
