Material Planner Specialist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers to establish a strong supply chain and ensure material availability at production plants
• Develop, design, and implement planning concepts and projects for material planning
• Manage the entire process from supplier to customer handover for high-risk or high-value parts
• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop cross-departmental countermeasures
• Monitor and optimize material flow, delivery programs, and production programs with suppliers
• Develop emergency strategies to mitigate supply bottlenecks and material shortages
• Coordinate with the Purchasing department to ensure on-time parts delivery based on capacity and demand
• Manage the introduction of parts technical modifications and coordinate run-in/run-out parts to avoid obsolete material

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in automotive production and logistics (e.g., inbound/outbound, supplier management, JIT/JIS)
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Experience in automotive logistics supplier management with a focus on JIS processes preferred
• Strong technical skills in networking, hardware, software systems, and process design
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
