Material Planner

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment and support of material requirements for assigned assemblies to ensure on-time delivery
• Use ERP/MRP systems to manage the flow of work and communicate hard requirements
• Partner with Program Schedulers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Manufacturing Teams to maintain estimated completion dates
• Validate engineering bills of material (eBOM) and assist in converting them to manufacturing bills of material (mBOM)
• Manage Costpoint manufacturing orders and Jira work orders based on MRP signals
• Communicate the status of materials, work orders, and purchase orders to relevant stakeholders
• Resolve supply issues by working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and program control

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in a supply chain, production, or engineering function
• 4+ years of experience in material planning, including inventory management and production scheduling
• Proven experience working with ERP and MRP systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
