Material Planner

Responsibilities

• Support supply chain operations, manufacturing, and warehouse management by acting as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments.
• Execute monthly SAP plans, investigate MRP deviations, and communicate delivery plans to local suppliers.
• Generate 6-month forecasts for local suppliers and analyze imported material to mitigate risks.
• Monitor daily shortage reports and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely part delivery.
• Manage in-consignment material shipping and monitor material expiry.
• Report on supplier KPIs, delivery violations, capacity issues, and high-risk items.
• Conduct regular supplier visits to facilitate improvement and problem-solving.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in supply chain or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with manufacturing and support teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority.
