Material Planner

Responsibilities

• Perform Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in SAP to ensure operational requirements meet the Master Production Schedule
• Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders and monitor material release status
• Manage end-to-end inventory, including pricing, safety stock, lead times, and FIFO/FEFO processes
• Generate and issue quarterly supplier forecasts and material readiness heatmaps to stakeholders
• Maintain Master Data accuracy in SAP for all material components
• Resolve aging receipts and identify root causes for supply issues
• Participate in cross-functional meetings including S&OE, weekly material readiness, and site Supply Chain Reviews
• Support Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and lean manufacturing practices to drive operational excellence

Requirements

• Honor's Degree (NFQ level 7) in Supply Chain Management or a related Business discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Supply Chain Management experience
• Essential experience using SAP
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a GMP environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Supply Chain Certification (e.g., APICS)
• Project Management or Lean Certification
• Experience in planning or purchasing within a pharmaceutical environment
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar data analytics tools
• Experience managing direct material categories such as chemicals or Single Use Technologies (SUTs)
