Material Planner and Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Plan raw materials and follow up on critical components to ensure timely availability and required quantities.
• Conduct day-to-day negotiations with suppliers and manage inventory control.
• Schedule production based on customer orders, production capacity, and material availability.
• Manage the raw material planning process, including creating purchase orders and monitoring ETD/ETA.
• Maintain and update MRP systems (SAP and Add*One) to ensure data accuracy.
• Supervise inventory levels, monitor shortages, and communicate risks to the Scheduler.
• Review material shipments, manage air shipment budgets, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare and sign flexibility agreements with suppliers to support inventory reduction.
• Create and publish Build to Schedule (BTS) plans and generate production orders.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Material Planning and Inventory Management.
• Proficiency in Production Planning and Procurement processes.
• Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and monitoring Supply Chain KPIs.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP or similar MRP systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and intermediate knowledge of Power BI.
• Advanced bilingual communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Lean management principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of Financial Analysis.
• Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing or logistics environment.
