Material Planner

Responsibilities

• Execute materials planning processes within the Solutions Centre Team
• Create Material Planning documents in the Alstom ERP solution (GSI)
• Communicate delivery requirements to suppliers and manage supplier relationships
• Receive supplier delivery confirmations and maintain accurate system data
• Coordinate tasks within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Extract Management Information Systems (MIS) using strong analytical skills
• Collaborate with Site Material Planners, Buyers, and Regional Business Process Experts

Requirements

• Academic B.E/B.Tech degree (Supply Chain specialization preferred)
• 3-10 years of experience in supply chain processes and tools
• Proficiency in an ERP tool with a Materials Management Module
• Strong understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Business Intelligence (BI) tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Supply Chain Management
• Previous experience working in a Shared Services Centre or remote working environment
